LKT - Alaye (The Video)

Enuf people are on queue waiting anxiously to see the video to dis hit track from LKT. Alaye was a massive all over Naija and internationally. The video is quite colourful and on point as expected.

Olalekan Babatunde Johnson best known as LKT has carve a niche for himself since he debut super collaborations featuring the biggest African acts.

The music maverick has made, graced a series of hits from the days of ‘Yahozee’ to present with his voice described as ‘golden husky.’

LKT stormed the industry with the hit song “Follow follow’ featuring P-Square in 2012 / 2013, Alaye was released at the end of the first quarter of 2013 building anticipation for the video. For those who do not know, ‘Alaye’ video was shot twice last year but never released, being a perfectionist. LKT later teamed up with the Omo Baba Olowo himself, Davido for the Remix of ‘Alaye’ with cameo from DJ Humility, Eniola Badmus, Bigiano, Omo Akin, Baba Ijesha and more.

Many artists struggle to establish their musical identity, trying on musical styles like items of clothing, till they find what fits. Then there are those that emerge fully formed, in full command of their identity and their music. Tijae is in the second category. His new single, ‘Dancing in Heaven’, is a captivating debut that heralds the arrival of a gifted and significant new talent, familiar, yet at the same time, innovative.
A Lagos boy raised in Abuja, Tijae started making music as a teenager. “I started writing songs in my head, and it took my interest in music to another level. I also started learning to make beats so I could bring my song ideas to life. I wasn’t interested in anything I was doing other than music, and I loved the ability to change people’s moods with sounds that I created.”
Whilst studying at the University of Abuja, he continued to polish his sound, consolidating his strong personal style. Entering a school wide freestyle rap battle organized by Sony Music South Africa, Tijae was crowned the best rapper in the University of Abuja. This led to bigger shows for an increasing local audience.
